Vijay Kumar Sinha is criticized by Tejaswi as an immature politician.

On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, Tejaswi Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), retaliated against Vijay Kumar Sinha, the BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister, for the alleged ₹26-crore road building scandal that occurred while he was in charge.

On Tuesday, Mr. Sinha filed grave accusations against Mr. Yadav, the current Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, claiming that while Mr. Yadav was serving as Road Construction Minister, unlawful payments totaling more than ₹26.16 crore had been made for the building of three roads in the Gaya division.

Mr. Yadav said that Mr. Sinha's accusation was unfounded and that he knew nothing about his own department.

He is an inexperienced and naive politician who has made rash, unfounded, and fact-free accusations. He is a minister who lacks knowledge of his own field. Mr. Yadav told the Patna media that this issue appears to be connected to the internal strife occurring within the BJP.

"Even though Mr. Sinha has been appointed Deputy Chief Minister, he does not consider himself to be the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar," the RJD leader stated. He receives no attention from Nitish Kumar or BJP politician and deputy chief minister Samrat Choudhary. Not even his department's engineers or officials pay him any attention. Mr. Choudhary, Mr. Sinha, and Dilip Jaiswal are competing with one another to mistreat Lalu ji and myself.

Mr. Sinha had claimed that three roads in the Gaya division had been constructed incorrectly. He claimed that the owner of the construction company was close to RJD MP Surendra Yadav, who represents the Jehanabad Lok Sabha constituency, and that the Road Construction department would examine and investigate all of the tenders given to Raja Construction.

"Let him do it and when the right time will come, everyone would be exposed and action would be taken against all such people, including Mr. Sinha," Mr. Yadav stated in response to the Minister's request to investigate the alleged scheme.

According to Mr. Sinha, the contractor received ₹26.16 crore between 2016 and 2017. Mr. Yadav, the Deputy Chief Minister, was the RCD Minister at the time of the payment.

Regarding the state of law and order, Mr. Yadav also made fun of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

"In Bihar, law and order completely broke down, and the chief minister turned into a Mauni Baba [Silent Baba]." Despite 200 rounds of gunfire being fired between two factions in the State capital, he is remaining silent and not speaking. Mr. Yadav said that his ministers were shielding and assisting the crooks.
